We wanted to: - motivate pupils to learn modern languages - improve pupils' knowledge of European citizenship and opportunities - provide pupils from rural areas with meaningful cultural experiences - offer pupils from rural areas an international exchange experience with other young Europeans - help pupils from socially disadvantaged families to benefit from cultural and international opportunities - Enrich pupils' environmental awareness - Develop pupils' language skills and cultural knowledge - Maximise the impact of our project on local communities - Strengthen the ability of our establishments and staff to cooperate on a European project - Develop the use of digital communication and solutions - Mobilise the skills of adults in a new and stimulating European project

The main activities of out project consisted of: • Staff training and exchanges on Erasmus, the EU and exchanges • A week-long exchange in Croatia • A week-long exchange in France • An eTwinning project covering the EU, the partner country and the environment • Activities with involve local primary schools, including an Erasmus Days event in both countries. • Cooperation between staff from both schools to implement and monitor the project

We : - strengthened the capacity of the two schools to cooperate at European level - developed budgetary and accounting solutions to support future projects - enabled 35 members of staff in France and 35 in Croatia to take part in their first Erasmus project and 31 French and 9 Croatian staff to practice and improve their language skills - improved the knowledge of 91 pupils on European citizenship and opportunities in the EU through an eTwinning project, school exhibitions and workshops. - organised two international exchanges: 41 pupils spent a week in another country and 67 pupils took part in an exchange in their own country with the partners. - Raised environmental awareness of 91 pupils through our e-twinning project on the environment which included reducing food waste in our canteens, conserving water and recycling packaging. - Involved our local communities and implicated families, town libraries and local authority partners. 39 families hosted a pupil from the partner country. - organised and linked up our first Erasmus Days events in both schools, which 118 secondary and 79 primary pupils - - improved English language learning
