Mobility is a key element of the Erasmus+ project “Girls in 21st century Europe”. It enables girls and young men to experience life and learning in contexts different from their home countries. By taking part in intercultural exchanges, the young people have had the opportunity to discover new cultures, meet different people, get to know women from all walks of life through personal accounts, and develop their independence. Mobility also enabled the girls and young men to strengthen their language skills, discover new professional fields and develop their self-confidence. Through their mobility experiences, the young people also acquired intercultural and social skills, such as communication, problem-solving and collaboration. With regard to the project's central theme, the mobility provided an opportunity to exchange views with teachers, parents and local political decision-makers on the challenges facing girls and young women in contemporary society, and to promote gender equality.

The project led to four mobilities in each of the participating countries, and activities linked to the themes of the mobilities were organized: In Italy, we tackled the theme of the status of women and harassment: Visit and conferences at the International Women's House in Rome. In Croatia, we worked on the theme of women in society. Meetings with women involved in the economy and tourism. In France, an exhibition entitled “Femmes XXelles” was set up at the Collège Pierre de Coubertin in October 2024, showcasing women working in the sciences. A visit to CEA Saclay and the R. Poincaré museum was also organized. 50 pupils benefited from the project: they worked with their teacher on the representation of women in advertising and attended the play "Et pendant ce temps, Simone veille". In October 2023, ten students visited the Colas research center in Magny-les-Hameaux to promote industrial careers to young girls. In Romania, the theme of “Women between professional careers and domestic activities” took us to the Parliament for a conference, as well as to the departmental library in Craïova.

- Creation of the official project logo - Digital albums created for each mobility event, illustrating activities, exchanges and highlights - Web page documenting the activities and products created - Information sheets and portraits of remarkable women in the public sector - Best practice sheets with local craftspeople and entrepreneurs committed to passing on traditions - Creation of a perpetual calendar highlighting key dates in the acquisition of women's rights in each partner country - Creation of a booklet dedicated to French women scientists, including biographies and major contributions - Creation of a guide to laws on women's rights and gender equality - A collaborative fresco created by the students, illustrating the theme of equality and rights - Craft items created during the workshops - displayed in a final mini-exhibition - Multilingual digital magazine, with articles written by the students on the role and representations of women in the 21st century - Diplomas of participation awarded to students and members involved - Dissemination material: flyers, posters, press articles and publications on social networks
