The project aims to help mountain populations not to suffer the decline of their territories, or lose their identity. In order to be able to adapt, professionals are looking for solutions to create new sustainable activities while maintaining a coherent living environment respectful of their environment and the challenges of climate transition. The project has therefore made it possible to: – carry out an in-depth analysis of training in mountain professions in the 7 countries of the Alpine arc and to understand the common points and specificities of each training course. Few few innovative training courses are currently offered even if demand is strong. The work of designing a module was all the more justified. – respond to the challenge of adapting teaching and professional training to provide concrete, common and transalpine avenues to professionals in activity or in the making; – contribute to innovation in the professional training of mountain stakeholders by proposing the model of an inter-profession, transalpine module, focused mainly on the conditions of exercising the activity – work in a network for inter-sector work, to strengthen cross-border cooperation to effectively combat climate change.

Almost all the activities initially planned in the project were implemented within the allotted time. WP 1: Project management and implementation • A 1.1: Project management and coordination • A 1.2: Communication WP 2: Benchmarking of the actors and continuing education courses involved in the training and professionalization of mountain actors at the Alpine Arc level • A 2.1 Definition of the working method • A 2.2 Development of the benchmarking WP 3: Promotion of innovative mountain professions training courses, integrating transition aspects • A 3.2 Dissemination of innovative courses at the Alpine level Activity A3.1 'setting up a selection committee' was not carried out with external stakeholders, as WP2 did not identify a sufficient number of innovative training courses to justify selection. WP 4: Production of a training module on the challenges of transition for targeted socio-professionals • A 4.1 Definition of the educational process • A 4.2 Design of the training module

The project has led to many concrete achievements: • A project sheet • Sending a call for expressions of interest • An analysis grid for mountain professional trainings •A 60-page deliverable published in French and English to promote the results of the benchmark and monitoring • The organization and facilitation of the “workshop on mountain training innovation”, all in English • Publication of the workshop report in English • Creation of the model for the “mountain training innovation” module • A promotional video for innovative training (2 minutes) in French and English The other results are: • Qualitative because the project allowed the two partners to test their good collaboration, but also for mountain stakeholders from various sectors of activity to meet, to exchange and share their realities. The project also made it possible to broaden the Franco-Italian horizon to a transalpine scale. The results of this project made it possible to produce quality deliverables and to strengthen the cross-border network of mountain stakeholders. • Quantitative in terms of the number of training organisations and partners contacted during the benchmarking and affected by the dissemination of the work.
