Objectives

By implementing this project we want to: -Raise awareness and spread knowledge about trauma and its impact on refugees and about an innovative approach to it -Conduct trainings testing and improving our methodology using embodiment and art therapies to deal with refugees/vulnerable people -Develop capacity building of our organisations, institutions and the public working with and for refugees -Improve the lives of traumatised people and host communities promoting peace, integration and trust

Activities

The activities we are going to implement are: -Carry out best practices’ research and selection as well as need analysis -Hold interviews with operators, refugees and organisations -Hold focus groups for discussion -Develop a Handbook and a Final Toolkit -Conduct an online training and International Academies -Engage refugees for the pilot workshops -Organise and conduct the pilot -Disseminate and communicate the project

Impact

-Online map with best art therapy rehabilitation practices in refugee care settings -Online training and international academies, involving a total of 75 trainees (adult education operators). -5 trained operators in each organisation will be conducting the pilot workshops to about 20 refugees/displaced people per country -Assessment Report on the CCA method implementation -Final Handbook including CV, content, methods and assessment of the ToT and Pilot workshops in the different countries
