To tackle the lack of information existing at European level on the link between nutrition and autism, the APIA project, organised over 36 months by a consortium of Spanish, Italian, Belgian and French organisations, aims to educate professional care assistants through theoretical and technical knowledge about the nutrition of people with autism so that they are better able to support them in their diet and promote their well-being and autonomy.
