โ–ถObjectives

Bioeconomy is a key strategy for the European Union, and a pillar of its sustainability agenda. Its deployment requires a paradigm shift in training curricula and pedagogical practices to equip students and lifelong learners with sustainable entrepreneurship skills. Building on the success of an ongoing Strategic Partnership, FOEBE+ aims to enhance a tailor-made study path to train a wider audience of bioeconomy entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs and guide them in their entrepreneurship journey.

โ–ถActivities

Project activities include the enhancement and adaptation of the current FOEBE entrepreneurship curriculum to reach out to intrapreneurs and lifelong learners. A digital e-learning campus will be set up to share the resulting teaching modules, which will be complemented by an in-person Bioeconomy Challenge to connect nascent entrepreneurs with the entrepreneurial innovation ecosystem at each partner HEI. The FOEBE+ programme will be tested with 3 successive learner cohorts.

โ–ถImpact

An aggregate flux of 245 students and LL learners will be trained in project years 2 and 3, with a target of 10 of them being further coached in their entrepreneurial journey. The insertion of FOEBE+ in the core training curricula of partner HEIs and in the Open Bioeconomy University will ensure its sustainability in the long run. Through its flexible approach, FOEBE+ will leverage the potential of students and intrapreneurs to innovate and foster the transfer of their ideas to the market.
