The main objective of the project is the promotion of plurilingualism and a language education which takes into account existing plurilingualisms and develops plurilingualism among European citizens. To this end, the project intends to contribute to - a better knowledge of plurilingual practices in secondary schools and universities - the dissemination of examples of plurilingual practices; - the development of the professional skills of (current and future) language teachers.

The following activities will be implemented - collection and analysis of plurilingual practices in education in Europe; - publication of a booklet of "good practices"; - publication of a reference book on plurilingualism and the didactics of plurilingualism combining theory and practice; - creation and development of a department for plurilingualism in the Wikiversity; - development of a blended training course on plurilingualism education including a pedagogical guide and training booklet.

Following results and impacts are expected: - better knowledge and sharing of existing plurilingual practices; - transfer of "good" practices; - strengthening the skills of current and future language teachers in plurilingual education; - stronger integration of plurilingualism in teacher training and in language education; - strengthening plurilingual education and assessment and indirectly the plurilingual competence of European citizens.
