▶Objectives
The Alter Tours project aim is to address the need of the tourist guides and agents to enhance and validate new skills to meet the current customer preferences for nature alternative tourism. Objectives: -Create a curriculum and an assessed & certified training material on alternative tours design, green & digital marketing skills. -Provide a certification scheme for recognizing and verifying the skills and knowledge. -Extend their competences & support the enhancement of their tours portfolio.

Main activities: - Development the curriculum, the training material and e-learning platform. - Assess and certify the training material. - Develop the common certification scheme for all EU countries. - Train examiners on the certification scheme. - Train, assess and certify tourist guides and agents. - Promote all project results and products.
▶Impact
Project results: - A curriculum and an assessed and certified training material. - An e-learning platform. - A certification scheme available for institutions in EU countries. - A transnational training activity for at least 10 examiners from all project partner countries. - 5 local training activities with assessment & certification for 25 tourist guides and agents. - 5 multiplier events reaching at least 175 stakeholders at national and EU level.
