We aspire to innovate VET by introducing innovative teaching methods that leverage the latest technologies. Our project addresses two crucial needs identified by the consortium. Firstly, the need to provide learners with increased access to high-quality training opportunities. Secondly, the need to offer trainees authentic and ubiquitous training experiences that align with their specialization domains. ▶Activities
The project aims to develop three comprehensive learning scenarios by bringing together a multidisciplinary team consisting of technology experts, digital facilitators, and VET institution staff. A staff mobility program will be implemented to design effective scenarios, and invited experts will provide in-person training to trainees. A comprehensive dissemination campaign will showcase the project activities and promote its innovative approach to VET.
▶Impact
Three learning scenarios are produced, two of which will utilize virtual reality (VR) and one that will utilize augmented reality (AR). Two scenarios will incorporate the principles of augmented virtuality, allowing users to train on digital twins of technical equipment and machinery while receiving real-time feedback from their real-world counterparts. Teaching staff is trained on deploying the scenarios in the classroom, they benefit from assistive ressources developed by the consortium.
