Objectives

NET PES is a strategic partnership made up by 8 partners: PES from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (FR) and Wallonia (BE) Veneto and Toscana (IT),Madrid and Catalonia (ES),the City of Helsinki (FI) and City of Stockholm(SE).It addresses the need to work innovatively on the transitions, adapting PES’ role to this fluid world of work, moving from a “brick and mortar' service provision to a hybrid-digitized one with specific attention to accessibility especially for some categories of jobseekers and companies.

Activities

NET PES’ methodology is based on and adapted from the “benchlearning” approach adopted by the EU PES Network. The adaptation is the first step, finding suitable indicators and methods to exchange practice (WP2). Exchange activities will be 6 in-depth study visits and benchlearning workshops (WP3), a collection of good practices, will be codified by producing digital educational content (guidelines and videos) and online training for staff and local stakeholders to share knowledge (WP4).

Impact

By participating in the activities, the involved PES will start a process to adapt and improve – increasing their professional competences - services apt for the digital transition and highlight their role & reputation in the governance of local ecosystems in transition and towards more accessible, inclusive digitized services. This will be used by policymakers and practitioners to embed the methods into the Human Resources Development plans of PES and identify new ways to provide public service.
