The specific goals we aimed to achieve through the implementation of the project are: 1. To improve the competencies of educators and staff in adult education for more effective teaching on green topics, with an emphasis on waste management. 2. To create learning opportunities for adult learners in the fields of waste management and green topics, as well as the issues of environmental protection, including ways in which they, as individuals, can contribute daily to solving these problems. 3. To develop innovative educational resources on green topics – a methodological manual, curriculum, and a digital educational-informative tool for waste sorting – which will be publicly available for use by educators, adult learners, and other interested parties. 4. To raise awareness about green topics and promote sustainable practices in the field of waste management and green topics in general. 5. To encourage cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experience on green topics and waste management through cross-sectoral collaboration among partners from three countries, supported by practical examples such as study visits to local waste management facilities during transnational meetings.

Within activity A1, we conducted continuous project coordination and management, and held online meetings. Through activity A2, we carried out in-depth research on the current state of waste management in the three partner countries, conducted an analysis and assessment of the interests and preferences of 154 adult learners regarding environmental education and green topics, and organized the first transnational meeting. Through activity A3, we developed a methodological handbook for educators working with adult learners for more effective teaching on green topics and held the second transnational meeting. Within activity A4, we created a curriculum to raise awareness of environmental topics among adult learners, piloted the curriculum through workshops with 51 participants, and organized the third transnational meeting. Through activity A5, we developed the project website, conducted an analysis of household waste data in the partner countries, and created a digital educational and informational tool on proper waste sorting.

Concrete results: 1.) A developed Report on the state of waste management in HR, SI, and MK and the needs of adult learners (154 learners surveyed), which provides a comprehensive analysis and served as the basis for developing educational resources within the RAGT project. 2.) A developed Methodological Handbook for adult educators on waste management, environmental protection, and health risks, also for local communities and stakeholders in the environmental sectors. 3.) A developed Curriculum to enhance the competencies of educators in adult education, providing them with new opportunities to enhance teaching through this innovative educational resource. 4.) Successfully piloted workshops on environmental topics based on the created RAGT curriculum with 51 participants. 5.) A developed project website with all project results. 6.) A developed digital tool for waste sorting that informs the public on proper waste separation with 51 items in its database. Additionally: 3 TPMs, 5 virtual meetings, 3 visits to waste management facilities.
