▶Objectives
The project will answer the question how to raise future generations’ awareness about the importance of sustainability so they focus more on green technologies and green jobs and implement and promote STEAM area in the future. This will be accomplished through the production of a chatbot in English as well as innovative educational materials that can be used to teach and learn about sustainability. Dissemination and promotion will spark students’ interest, esp. girls’, for green jobs in STEAM.
▶Activities
Josip Slavenski Grammar School Čakovec, the coordinator of the project, and its partner schools in Greece, Italy, Lithuania and Poland will undertake activities during 36 months in which they will hold 7 virtual and 5 international meetings, with more than 200 students and 50 teachers participating in 22 workshops, 1 lecture and 2 presentations by experts, 6 visits to relevant institutions and 2 specialised field trips and disseminate and promote the results in the process.
▶Impact
The results of the project are increased students' interest for green jobs (15% increase) a chatbot answering questions connected with environmental sustainability and green jobs and a mobile app, integrated on a digital platform, too, which will include other educational and promotional material created in the project. Since the teaching material will be made public and free to access and the chatbots will be regularly updated with new information this will make the project sustainable.
