▶Objectives
One of the aims of the project is to enhance the methodological repertoire and professional competence of experts and volunteers working with older people. In this line, the project also includes the production of new intellectual output (lesson plans). The other aim is to learn about opportunities for intergenerational cooperation, value transmission and preservation, and to share good practices and exchange experiences on intergenerational community organisation in rural settlements.
▶Activities
In order to achieve our senior development goals, professionals will participate in 2 study visits focusing on organisations and programmes for elderly people. We are also developing an online manual of lesson plans to support a wider range of beneficiaries. 1 workshop and 3 study visits will be organised to learn about community-building and value-preserving programmes facilitating intergenerational cooperation and exchange of good practices.
▶Impact
As a result of the project, participants learn new methods of senior development and an online professional material will be developed, including plans for senior development sessions. Secondly, the participants' methodological toolkits to support intergenerational cooperation will be enriched, value-preserving good practices will be introduced and gathered. The cooperation will lead to an enhancement of the institutional network of the partners and an increase in their public visibility.
