▶Objectives
The project will result in the skill and capacity development of disadvantaged parents for them having better awareness of their children’s rights and have necessary soft skills to effectively advocate for the fulfilment of these right. Parallel, professionals whose work is related to Roma/disadvantaged families will strengthen their inclusion skills as well as those soft skills necessary for providing a more effective inclusion environment.
▶Activities
Two training curricula will be developed that will aim at the objectives described above. 8 trainings will be implemented. 2-2 localities will be selected in each country, and at each locality 1 training for the Roma and 1 for the professionals will be held. The trainings will be followed by a joint, 6-month facilitated learning-by-dog phase, with the participation of both trained groups. The project, the concept and the results will be disseminated by two workshops and other media appearances.
