Objectives

The main goal of the project is to help children develop their physical activities, creativity, teamwork, leadership, problem solving and other key competencies and enable them to explore nature. The teachers involved in the project will develop educational materials and methods that will support children's learning by playing games in nature. In addition, teachers will emphasize the importance of green practices and nature conservation and encourage innovation in the school.

Activities

We will organize teacher trainings in order to reduce screen addiction and encourage being in touch with nature. In these trainings, we will share practical methods and strategies for the development of key competencies such as children's games and exploration activities in natural environments. Participants will share their experiences about the culture of being in touch with nature. At the end of the project, we will create a guidebook and aim to promote the project results to the wider public

Impact

Enabling students to be in touch with nature by getting away from the screens, and thus increasing the areas of play and exploration in their lives The spread of the nature-based learning approach and the teachers' acquisition of the necessary skills and knowledge to use this approach Developing students' ability to explore nature and playing games, increasing their creativity, increasing their self-confidence Strengthening children's connection with nature and developing environmental awareness
