The overarching objective is to support teachers, school leaders and schools in the design of inclusive learning and community spaces, promoting the implementation of digitalization, STEM education and community learning, in three level: developing a practice for teachers and schools regarding what makes school spaces functional and inclusive, creation of relevant knowledge capital and designing up-to-date methodological support with modern architectural models, making a Europe-wide impact.

We plan four types of activities: 1) Diagnosis among school heads and teachers with strong involvement, awareness-raising and conducting a survey. 2) School study visits into innovative school environments, producing diaries, conducting interviews and case studies. 3) Complex knowledge management package to accumulate knowledge capital (good practice sharing, podcasts, articles, study and interview booklet). 4) Compiling architectural pre-studies and final studies, fully aligned to the schools.

We expect from the project: (1) strong involvement and collaboration with schools, school leaders and teachers, (2) accumulation of meaningful and relevant knowledge in the specialized field of how inclusive education and innovative learning spaces can meet (with various knowledge management activities) and (3) tangible impact on school’s interiors and the thinking of the actors on inclusive learning spaces and relevant knowledge sharing on utilizing the collected good practices across Europe.
