- We want teachers to try a different 'function' from the traditional role of teacher, that of facilitator. - We want a more equal form of education, giving more freedom and opportunities to young people. - We want them to experience peer learning, where they actively participate in the processing of school subject areas and learn from each other. - We want to help learners to process and understand the school subject matter. - We want to contribute to reducing socio-cultural differences.
▶Activities
- ToT: partner organisations’ professionals will learn each other's methods and develop a methodological framework - Guidebook development: art- and project method-based educational program for schools - Application of art-based pedagogy in the classrooms: developing EU key competences and supporting school subjects - Multiplier events showcasing the results: participant students will experience a positive role - Communication about the project results for professionals & wider public
▶Impact
- Students get developed key competences, and experience school success through based art based pedagogy - Teachers will transforms their relationship with the students in a positive way and expands their teaching toolbox - Volunteers get positive relationships with disadvantaged youth - The art based pedagogy & project method can have a positive impact on the mental state of the pupils and their attitude to learning. - Participating organisations can have new collaborations on the EU level
