ENFORCE - thEmatic Network FOr expeRienCe bEekeepers

Prepared beekeepers and their partners who are able to respond to the challenges of the climate change, irregularities of the European honey market and contribute to an overall transformation of the beekeeping sector towards quality production. Due to the innovative knowledge beekeepers and other stakeholders gained, they learned the rules of experience economy, gamification and sensory analysis of honey and are able to use it. They are prepared to mitigate climate threats.

Activities cover the collection of best practices of apiaries implementing gamification and experience provision in their production and sales. Drafting a book, containing chapters of beekeeping, experience rules, sensory analysis of honey and laboratory methods and ideas to diminish climate threats. Establishing an IT platform for spreading the new knowledge. Preparing a toolkit for gamification of the apiaries. Organizing pilot training and dissemination of new knowledge for beekeepers.

Prepared an 80 pages training book. Online platform, 5 languages for sharing the training material, videos and graphic designs. Collection of best practices of beekeepers in the spirit of experience economy. Developed a toolkit to use for gamification. Trained expert pool, at least 4 experts from each country for honey sensory analysis. Meetings for dissemination. The most important result will be the change of attitude and thinking of beekeepers and gastronomy actors, developing new knowledge.
