▶Objectives
The project aims to PROMOTE A MORE INCLUSIVE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME FOR HEARING-IMPAIRED PEOPLE IN EU (VET students, 14-18 age) through designing and releasing of a QUALITY STANDARD FOR DISTANCE APPRENTICESHIP (made by tools, e-solutions and activities). Doing so, it will create MORE INCLUSIVE VET AND BUSINESS ENVIRONMENTS THAT FOSTER EQUITY AND EQUALITY, improving the job placement of young deaf people and dispelling the myth of their low employability and low professional contribution.
▶Activities
The 1st thread of activities will deliver a TOOLBOX with 6 tools to make more inclusive the Apprenticeship. The 2nd one will release an e-PLATFORM to support the 3 TGs in approaching digital Apprenticeship with deaf people. The last one will create a COMMUNITY to test the results with a wider audience and launch the project heritage. Activities regarding the PM, the quality and the promotion will be foreseen to assure a smooth implementation. All the Partners will cooperate to set up them.
▶Impact
Project activities will develop: A TOOLBOX with protocols, training videos, an e-questionnaire, guidelines, a project badge (WP2); An e-SPACE, which will also contain the tools devised in WP2, to be used in approaching apprenticeship and during its implementation to communicate and check its progress (WP3); A COMMUNITY OF PRACTICES based on virtual and local HUBS, Local Workshops and Campaigns and an EU Policy Recommendation (WP4). They will be tested in EU VET centres and companies.
