▶Objectives
The project aims to develop and implement an innovative safety training program for agricultural workers using VR technology. The objectives are to improve safety knowledge and skills, enhance engagement and participation, and make training more accessible for migrant workers, overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers. The project also seeks to promote innovation in vocational education and training and to establish a network of partnerships and collaborations at the European level.
▶Activities
To achieve the best results from the project, we will carry out several activities, including management and implementation, reporting on knowledge of confined spaces in agriculture, developing virtual reality technology, creating an engaging safety course, testing the course and the VR environment in Italy and France, and disseminating and communicating the project's outcomes. Throughout these activities, ZC and STEA will exchange information on a continuous transnational basis.
▶Impact
The project aims to have the following results: a) creation of a good practice model for innovation in safety training in confined spaces in agriculture (CSA) to be transferred to local, regional, and European levels, b) improvement of the skills and knowledge of teachers, workers, and training organizations in the field of safety in CSA and c) increased accessibility and inclusivity of vocational education and training opportunities for agricultural workers, especially migrant workers.
