▶Objectives
The digital divide includes many risks. First one is the marginalization of people aged more than 60 years old towards the digitalization of services and general life and the difficulty to access equal opportunities. The overall objective is to improve the possibility of adults over 60 to access quality training tools, to implement their digital knowledge and soft skills to enhance social inclusion, equality and equal opportunities. Digital literacy of older people can reduce marginalization and enable a more participatory role within society. The goal is to develop a new conceptual and methodological framework to ensure the acquisition of digital skills useful for fostering active participation and autonomy, to promote the responsible use of digital technologies as a reply to the need of senior citizens to be included in the digital society and access its wealth of information, opportunities and knowledge.
