Objectives

By implementing EUF “engaging and empowering EU Families through storytelling, digital guide and card game” the partnership aimed primarily at the development of effective communication between parents and children. With EUF the partnership wanted to design a path of non-formal, inclusive education, to respond to the need of reinforcing family life skills and to train parents to manage original user friendly digital communication tools. EUF supported parents with fewer opportunities in their educational function strengthening their active role in the community. We add that EUF was aimed at families at risk of social exclusion, for which being reached by the project meant access to an educational path that increase the potential for social inclusion. EUF was based on the idea that “Investment in all families, complemented by targeted support for the most vulnerable families at risk of exclusion, is a fundamental building block of cohesive societies” as stated by Eurochild (Oct.2012)
