The project aimed to promote peaceful ways as a pathway to peace and human rights. Peace education involved guiding young people from conflict toward coexistence, from disrespect toward mutual honour, from hate toward love, from despair toward hope, and from selfishness toward living for the sake of others. It tried to nurture forgiveness in place of revenge and to inspire a culture where nonviolence becomes the foundation for positive transformation. The project aimed to engage students in discussions, sharing their ideas and perspectives to promote sustainable peace.

We implemented various role-play activities for participants to actively explore complex social challenges and develop empathy by stepping into different viewpoints. We actualised methods such as critical thinking, dialogue, and hypothesising to strengthen our students’ ability to analyse problems and identify peaceful solutions. Using comprehensive resources and handouts, we encouraged them to become active peacebuilders and equipped them with the practical skills and mindset needed to foster harmony, justice, and sustainable peace in their communities.

The project produced both tangible and intangible results related to peace education and intercultural understanding. Tangible outputs include educational materials such as activity guides and reflection tools on tolerance and nonviolent communication, as well as a project website showcasing students’ work and good practices. Partner schools organised exhibitions, dissemination events, and community presentations to share results locally and regionally. Dissemination through media, social networks, and the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform ensured European visibility. Intangible outputs include strengthening intercultural, linguistic, and social competencies among students, improving teacher skills in inclusive pedagogy, and triggering school cooperation. The project fostered empathy, respect, and active citizenship. It has laid the foundation for continuing practices developed during the project beyond its completion.
