Objectives

The overall objective of Cohousilience is to increase the capacity of the project partners in the empowerment of vulnerable EU citizens at risk of social marginalisation to stay healthy (socially and physically) and live autonomously in their communities, to support the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan. The project aims at testing and evaluating the possibilities of cohousing to innovate housing policies as an alternative form of support of people at risk of social isolation.

Activities

– Awareness raising and targeted dissemination (WP2) mainly digital, the production of a video and multiplier events on project outputs; – Capacity building initiatives of partner’s staff toward cohousing best practices topics (WP3) and the empowerment of vulnerable people to become change drivers for the communities (WP4); – Experimentation and evaluation of pilot projects on the diffusion of forward-looking collaborative learning centres (WP5).

Impact

– EU Exchange and capacity building of partner’ staff on cohousing and related topics – 5 non formal training courses for cohousers to become Community leaders – 5 forward-looking centres as learning environment with and for the community – 5 pilots in 4 EU countries of 1 year programme of “resilience” learning opportunities with and for the community – 1 Cohousing Community APP, to link the Eu cohousing initiatives – 5 pilot impact evaluation reports for the analysis of the social value create
