Despite the inherent advantages of a unified system for students’ identity verification, the European Student Card (ESC) is far from the desired adoption levels. ESC-tension 2 aims to facilitate the adoption and use of the ESC working directly with the demand side, i.e. the European students, also building on the results of ESC-tension project closed in Oct. 22. ESC-tension 2 implements the Erasmus Without Papers, deploying the European Student Identifier embedded in the European Student Card.
