▶Objectives
LEONARDO aims to develop innovative teaching methods, materials and tools for human-centric industrial engineering and management (H-IEM) education leveraging on a 5.0 replica of a brewing system that will serve as a hands-on learning environment and as an incubator for student’s ideas. LEONARDO also aims to nurture a European community of faculty and HEI staff committed to reinforce the education & training systems and trigger a modernisation of IEM education in the light of human-centricity.
▶Activities
Different type of activities will be conducted: transnational project meetings fostering the collaboration of the partnering organisations; Research & Development activities for the design/development/testing of the project results (LEAFs, student resources, educator resources, HEI resources); Learning, Teaching and Training activities for both IEM students and educators; a series of Multiplier Events to disseminate the project results.
▶Impact
Results include the installation of two 5.0 brewing LEAFs, the definition of the skill mix for the workforce 5.0, a set of open educational resources, a toolkit of LEAF-as-a-Service educational tools, a class of trained university-level students, a gap analysis of the IEM educational offer; a skill profile for H-IEM educators, a classroom resource kit for H-IEM trainers; a toolset of training and upskilling resources for trainers; a pool of trained educators in H-IEM.
