▶Objectives
The Partnership of HEIs wishes to design and implement a European and innovative blended model of experiential education and training focusing on biodiversity monitoring and governance in protected areas, seeking to validate and consolidate the applied project activities with the direct participation of Students (of the 3 study levels and degree), teachers and researchers, professionals already cooperating at scientific and vocational training level.
▶Activities
During the three years of activities, there will be an innovative model of education and training to be tested and validated in 4 editions of blended teaching and training courses (online and in situ) in Italy, Austria, and Germany. Consistent with the project structure, e-learning and cross-media modules will be implemented to support the course delivery phase. Dissemination activities and transfer of teaching and learning outcomes are foreseen, which will extend the audience across Europe.
▶Impact
The four main results of the project will be: a tested and validated training model ready for replication and transferability in another university, governmental and scientific contexts (PR1). A tangible result of more than 200 people trained with cutting-edge scientific and practical skills (PR2). An E-learning module tested, validated, replicable and disseminable (PR3). Activation of a European community of practice (teachers, researchers, and professionals) on EU Biodiversity strategy (PR4).
