▶Objectives
While living in the post Covid-era and in view of the upcoming EU Parliamentary Elections, the project pioneers to ENGAGE, CONNECT and EMPOWER disadvantaged YP, through the setting up of SOCIAL INNOVATION LABORATORIES (HUBS), with the aim to promote CIVIC ENGAGEMENT and ACTIVATION for them who will be supported by YWs to take the role of SOCIAL INNOVATORS for SOCIAL CHANGE and SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT of their local communities, while contributing to the National and EU level as active citizens.
▶Activities
The main project activities designed to implement the above-mentioned objectives are: • realization of the EU4YOUTH2ACT EMPOWERMENT AND CIVIC ORIENTATION PROGRAMME for YP and YWs • development and pilot-testing of the EU4YOUTH SOCIAL INNOVATION HUBS for YP, to support their acquisition of personal, social and civic skills • creation of multi-functioning MOBILE APP, with the integration of the EU4YOUTH2ACT TOOL KIT, to connect YP and YWs to the EU community and the European socio-political life
▶Impact
The main project results and products designed to implement the above-mentioned objectives are: • the MOBILE APP and an interactive e-learning platform with the EU targeted to YP, YWs, educators, EU experts, etc. • the EU4YOUTH2ACT Campaign which will be addressed to the community actors such as schools, universities, Public Institutions, YOUTH organizations • the validated Capacity Building Training for YWs and the EMPOWERMENT AND CIVIC ACTIVATION PACK FOR EU CITIZENS
