Project aimed to support social workers enhancing their intercultural communication skills and competences. Project objectives: 1. to develop a high-quality methodology tailored to target group needs 2. to increase intercultural communication skills and competences for social workers in provision of assistance to forced migrants 3. to disseminate project results, informing the target groups about the new opportunities created to develop their intercultural communication competencies and skills

Activities: 1. development of methodology "Interculturality in the social work" in 3 languages (EN, LT, GR) 2. training of intercultural communication skills and competences for social workers (2 international trainings in LT and CY; sharing best practice inside/between organizations) 3. piloting, evaluation and applying methodology in practice with forced migrants 4. dissemination & exploitation of project results (via project Facebook page, newsletters, dissemination events-conferences, other)

โ–ถImpact

Results: 1. created methodology "Interculturality in the social work" available in 3 languages (EN, LT, GR) 2. 50 social workers from LT and CY enhanced their intercultural communication skills and competences and applying methodology in practice 160 forced migrants were influenced and got more qualified services helping them to integrate into the society 3. more than 25,000 social workers and stakeholders were introduced to the project results (methodology). It was created project Facebook page (EN).
