The project aimed to enhance the VET learning process through digitisation and modernisation, by utilising a mobile application as a platform which is an innovative approach to teaching and learning. By incorporating advanced tools and innovative learning methods, students of vocational schools would be able to strengthen their competitive position in the labour market and meet the demands of businesses. This approach aimed to increase the appeal of vocational training by integrating engaging, modern, and innovative learning tools into the curriculum. The project aimed to improve the digital readiness, resilience, and capacity of VET schools by utilising a mobile app as a modern teaching tool. This would enable educators to better adapt to the digital transformation that is taking place in the education sector. By enhancing students' skills and employability, the project aimed to reduce the skills gap between what is being taught in vocational schools and the skills required in the labour market.

The following activities were planned: Creation of content for the mobile app Preparation and activation of the mobile app Testing and implementation of the created module into the curriculum Presentation of the project to Lithuanian and Latvian institutions and business Evaluation of the program's effectiveness by assessing student internships in companies

1. Creation of 20 teaching videos. 2. Rental of 1 mobile app template, which would be utilised by the RTSTCI for 3 years after project's end, as well as by other beneficiaries who join the project. 3. Transfer of chosen models from the Waiter’s program to the mobile app, which will serve as supplementary learning material during lessons. 4. Testing of the mobile learning program by 30 students at RTSTCI. 5. Training of 2-3 pedagogues to manage the app. 6. Education of 80 company and 40 representatives of other professional schools on the program. Other results of the project were development of the digital skills and competencies of educators, and strengthening their pedagogical practice, enabling them to effectively utilise the mobile apps as a modern teaching tool. Also, adapting VET to meet the evolving needs of the labour market, where training tools are rapidly advancing, in order to enhance students' employability. Moreover, strengthening the collaboration between VET institutions and business entities to reduce the gap between the learning curriculum and market demands and Increasing the appeal of VET by integrating innovative learning tools into the curriculum.
