Objectives

The WINE project aims to create an innovative online course to train wine professionals, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal, on emerging environmental threats and the need to strengthen cooperation and skills transfer. The aim is to improve participants' awareness and knowledge of sustainable wine-making practices, harmonise VET competences, promote wine tourism and foster European networking between different type of organisation.

Activities

To achieve the WINE project objectives, several activities were identified and divided into 4 work packages: - Project Management activities - WP1 - Definition of the syllabus and creation of training contents - WP2 DESIGN OF THE ONLINE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME - Development of the online training platform and Wine&Tourism interactive map - WP3 DESIGN OF THE ONLINE DIGITAL TOOLS - Dissemination, communication, exploitation of results and follow-up - WP4 DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION

Impact

The project aims to produce the following concrete results: - Improved skills and competences of course participants on the application of wine-related business practices and sustainable practices. - Creation and delivery of a professional training course, a new e-learning platform and an interactive map of best practices to promote European networks. - Strengthening of collaboration between different types of organisations (VET centres, enterprises, chamber of commerce and tourism agencies).
