▶Objectives
HEI innovative learning offers focusing on sustainable tourism and security will be enlarged. Learning whenever and wherever in an innovative & creative environment on a hot topic will be made possible through the implementation of 4 micro-credentials. HEI knowledge will be enhanced and university-business cooperation will be strengthened which increases the HEI students´ employability and educational and industry standards for tourism education in the respective countries.
▶Activities
Main activities will be: Research for the necessity of reskilling and up-skilling and analysis of the collected data. Based on the recommendation 4 micro-credentials will be developed. At least 120 participants will be trained in the proposed micro-credentials., feedback will be collected and courses will be improved. Certification framework will be developed and applied for the 4 micro-credentials to comply with ETCS.
▶Impact
Major results: status-quo analysis on sustainable tourism (ST) developments, trending topics & the needs in terms of micro-credentials (MC), training content development for 4 MCs covering the up-to-date topics of ST & security, implementation & evaluation as well as certification of the MCs planned ahead earlier on The main results will be of a tangible nature & lead to collaboration among the industry & HEI representatives = higher employability of HEI students & to improve HEI standards
