Objectives

We want to address different target groups from students to senior citizens. To find out the knowledge the level of skills in waste sorting and recycling. And demonstrate how waste is used to create new products. Create art work - turn trash to the treasure! To design digital and non-digital information materials in order to educate the public revealing the benefits of economy in the families and in the country, just by changing their habits.

Activities

The project includes a variety of activities in which students will use, improve or learn: use of IT technologies (project homepage/inforgraphics/video), survey development and analysis of results, creation of an exhibition, creation of Environmental digital art; a visiting company production facilities, development the manuals for teaching(lessons plans and teacher guide), educational events for the public, final conference presentation and dissemination of project results.

Impact

The public will be educated about waste as a secondary resource. A part of society will change its habits, become aware of the economic benefits. The students of the project participating countries will get to know each country's vision and system of waste management and society's attitude. Students will pass on their knowledge to the wider society. The developed methodical materials for teachers will be able to be adapted in school curriculums.
