Objectives

INFINITE aims to: - Raise awareness about the affordances and challenges of AI in HE - Develop hands-on resources for HE academics to leverage AI for professional and pedagogical practice, considering the ethical implications - Build HE academics’ and students’ digital competences and resilience to use AI with ethical responsibility, for teaching & learning - Promote HE digital transformation through capacity-building of the HE community, to leverage AI for professional and pedagogical practice

Activities

- Develop AI Literacy Toolkit with reflective tools and practical guidelines for HE academics to select AI tools for professional and pedagogical practice, considering ethical implications. - Develop an AI Digital Hub and two blended courses to train HE academics and students. - Instructors will implement in-class AI-empowered activities while piloting will take place at all key stages. - Promotional activities, events and a final conference will further disseminate the project’s results.

Impact

- General awareness raising throughout EU concerning the role AI in HE - Toolkit with 36 national/European case studies on AI in HE, Readiness checklist & Visualised Framework with the affordances of AI tools for professional and pedagogical practice, including the ethical issues - AI Digital Hub with a Repository of AI tools and Observatory featuring the latest trends - Capacity-building blended training for HE academics and students, with in-class implementations - Action Plan for HEIs
