The project aims to develop an innovative and practical solution for teachers to effectively promote democratic values, social cohesion, active citizenship, and intercultural dialogue and engaged citizens to a more democratic and inclusive society. The objectives to achieve this are: -Develop a comprehensive curriculum -Design a complete training program -Create a comprehensive web-based platform -Empower students to exercise and defend their democratic rights and responsibilities in society

IDEALS will be implementing 5 work packages WP1-Project management WP2- E-course “Teach for future active citizens”: a practical course for teachers WP3- IDEALS web- based platform for specific portable skills and curriculum WP4- Building Democratic Citizenship through Cooperative Activities WP5- Dissemination and exploitation impact

Specific results will be: -“Teach for future active citizens”-online training course for teachers -IDEALS web-based platform for specific portable skills and curriculum -A Manual for Building democratic citizenship Cooperative Activities -Democracy in Action International, National and Local Activities -Model EU Activity( MEU) -IDEALS policy brief: a summarized strategy report of the project for policymakers
