The main objective of the project is to improve the representation of students from low socioeconomic backgrounds in gifted programmes. In order to achieve that we formulated 3 sub-objectives that we operationalised in the work packages: 1) to identify the cognitive talent of gifted students from disadvantaged backgrounds 2) to improve their knowledge of and skill in using academic language 3) to involve their parents more actively with their learning processes
