▶Objectives
The project aimed to address environmental and climate issues by raising awareness about recycling and the circular economy among marginalized adults, Ukrainian war refugees and other migrants with poor linguistic skills. The core objective was to develop didactical tools and interactive multi-media resources on recycling and circular economy that support adult educators and foreign language trainers. The visual resources used edutainment for behaviour modification and encourage newly arrived Adults in Europe to integrate Sustainable Behaviour in everyday life at home and work. The overarching goal was to develop competencies of the migrant adults for effective recycling and behaviour modification for a sustainable lifestyle using "edutainment". Through a combination of animated videos, digital comic strips and worksheets, teachers can introduce fundamental concepts of sustainable lifestyle and adapt their didactical resources to teach foreign languages online and in hybrid formats. The learning content based on future-oriented curricula was designed to help bridge the gap in knowledge about climate change, raise awareness about energy consumption and assist in the development of language skills.
