Objectives

The main achievement will be the greening of cultural education of adult learners (thus the project title- “Green arts ”) educating and promoting environmental practices, encouraging the staff, volunteers, stakeholders, audiences in the two partner countries to act sustainably and promote initiatives to raise awareness, change attitudes and behaviours by promoting sustainable lifestyles but also acknowledging environmental importance of non-formal cultural education and cultural activities.

Activities

The project is based on the performing arts and applied arts activities and aims at developing and promoting European cultural diversity and heritage. It covers a range of activities: 40 workshops, 4 performances but also creating a film that will serve as a guide with the best “green” artistic practices and solutions and a blog that will become an important tool for the feedback and encourage input from a wider network of creative organisations and stakeholders across Europe.

Impact

The expected results will be combining the cultural education (workshops, performances) with the „green” education, making them inherently integrated in everyday work of partners’ institutions and communities. By means of inclusive cultural acitivities that will serve as powerful modes of communication and engagement, the projects is expected to reach the local communities and promote more sustainable technologies, attitudes and behaviours as well as as social equity and cultural inclusion.
