▶Objectives
The main goal of the project was to strengthen the position of adult activists(including people who have migration experience themselves)in working with migrants by inspiring them with international examples and work methods that they will implement in their local environments.In order to achieve better results,we focused only on the exchange of experiences between activists,but also between them and members of local communities,including ngos working for migrants. The international partnership also ensures the development of organizational, training and language skills of participants.Thanks to transnational activities, participants had the opportunity to practice their language skills,as well as establish international contacts,which they can use when applying for international funding for their next project. As results,we planned to increase the knowledge and experience of participants and non-governmental organizations in the field of international examples of methods of working with migrants.These methods were to be tested, implemented and applied in local communities and result in new projects for migrants and their social environment. Other results:practicing a foreign language,new contacts,learning about Erasmus+.
▶Activities
We organized 3 Transnational Project Meetings (TPM) for the efficient management of the project (1 stationary in Wroclaw and 2 online) and 3 LTT Trainings in Cagliari, Wroclaw and Valencia. During each LTT NGO, 12 activists using migrants (6 people from each organization) were hosted. During the use of participants participating in activities around: the reception and integration of common and migrants, equality and non-discrimination, civic and social participation, improvement of the coordinator in working with migrants. In order to implement the results, activities were carried out in each city: a) workshops in Cagliari, Wroclaw and Valencia. The aim of this activity was to apply in this practice what the participants learned during the sharing in the field of teaching and learning, and to replicate it to their peers, after sharing reflections and experience. b) additional information -event for the community is also included in each city – this has led to the exposure and promotion of the results in communities and organisations, as well as promoting the use of Erasmus+ in adult education for migrants and partners.
▶Impact
The project resulted in increased knowledge and experience of participants and NGOs in the field of international examples of methods of working with migrants. Other results: practicing a foreign language, meeting new colleagues and foreign NGOs that may be future partners of international cooperation, learning about the Erasmus+ programme. In addition: - promotion of different methods of working with and for migrants and refugees, - promotion of the use of the Erasmus+ programme in the lifelong learning of migrants and refugees, - acquisition of new organisational and training skills by LTT participants – implementation of the learning by doing method, - intercultural cooperation between organisers of local activities – trainers/educators and migrants/refugees working together to achieve the objective of the activity, - inclusion of a larger number of participants within the Erasmus+ programme.
