Objectives

The goal of our activities was to make the project participants aware of the need for an ecological lifestyle, care for the environment, and care for the planet. Another goal of the project was to form a group of young people who in the future would take on the task of educating others in the areas they learned about during their mobility in Italy and Poland. The project participants were supposed to develop habits associated with ecological behavior, the goal of which is not only to reduce consumerism , which would lead to lowering the ecological footprint, but also to increase health awareness (microplastics in food, recycling, clean air).

Activities

1. preparatory meeting - Italy, February 2024. 2. ECO ACADEMIA I - Italy, March 2024. - Mobility of Polish youth to Ascoli Piceno. 3. ECO ACADEMIA II - Poland, October 2024. - Italian youth mobility to Augustow. 4. Ecology Day, ECO ACADEMIA - vademecum: a. A website was created; b. an Eco Day was organized three times at the High School in Augustow, where the results of the project were presented to students of our school and students of schools in the Augustow district, to which representatives of local authorities were invited; c. teaching materials created as a result of project activities (lesson scenario, Vademecum in e-book form, visual materials) were made available to teachers from local schools. The Vademecum - on ecological behavior - will serve both to disseminate the results, but will also be an excellent supplement to the lesson materials developed by teachers from Poland.
