Moving towards a Green tRansitiOn through sustainable Waste management education in the VET Sector
▶Objectives
The GROWS objectives are to: ●Build the capacity of VET providers to implement sustainable waste management practices in the field of environmental education ●Improve VET providers’ competences to prepare/implement a green education action plan ●Raise awareness about the significance of decreasing waste to VET providers and learners ●Develop innovative pedagogical learning material and resources for the VET sector to promote environmental awareness and improve VET learner’s green skills
▶Activities
The GROWS project will develop and deliver a Toolkit on developing a Green Strategy, an e-learning platform and OERs and a Training programme to be implemented to promote sustainable waste management in VET. Implementation of the above mentioned activities will take place, while a Committee will be established to support the success of the project. Promotional activities, events and a final European conference will be organised to further disseminate the project’s results.
