Glokers aims to promote sustainability among young people in the EU, empowering them to be agents of change and create inclusive sustainability initiatives. The GO is to promote awareness of glocal & inclusive approaches to tackle climate change, mixing Fair Trade and campaigning. SOs include boosting transnational peer-learning, contributing to social inclusion, testing innovative practices, promoting active citizenship to advocate for proper transposition of EU value-driven legislation.

The project includes activities to promote sustainable practices and engage young people. These include participatory mapping, online workshops, training, and glocal toolkit development. Partners will recruit participants and provide sustainability, Fair Trade, and digital storytelling training. Pilot tours will showcase sustainable initiatives. Local campaigns, an online campaign, a webinar, and a 3-day conference will encourage youth advocacy and create policy recommendations.

The project aims to empower young people to take action on environmental issues through participatory mapping, sustainable tours, online campaigns, and policy advocacy. It seeks to promote sustainable development, raise awareness, and create a network of youth leaders across Europe. The expected outcomes include increased knowledge and skills, greater youth engagement in environmental activism, policy recommendations, and increased public awareness of the importance of sustainability.
