To foster the empowerment of the most vulnerable women in the local community through the implementation of a personal and social empowerment program. Specific objectives addressed: To empower participants with useful tools and skills for future employability; To foster the personal and social potential of the participants; To reinforce the participants' self-esteem and self-confidence; To promote gender equality; To reinforce the European identity
▶Activities
Women empowerment training program in Italy and Portugal - Good practice sharing sessions - Capacity building sessions for the staff of the two organizations - 2 dissemination events - Production of didactic material on gender equality
▶Impact
From the positive impact, this project had on both organizations thanks to the transnational partnerships, to the direct impact it had on the lives, skills, attitudes & knowledge of our women. We believe we have empowered them to take positive action in light of the current state the world find itself. On the other hand we were able to produce a manual of the training course and a set of cards based on the theme of the project.
