▶Objectives
The project aimed to cultivate a culture of agroecology and sustainability within educational settings. Using the seed cycle as a framework, we designed a curriculum and practical activities to: • Promote Education for Sustainability: By implementing participatory, nature-based learning methodologies, developing a transdisciplinary curriculum, and equipping teachers and students with the skills to foster sustainable development, aligning with SDGs 4 and 13. • Encourage Conscious Consumption and a Circular Economy: We fostered critical and responsible consumption through short food supply chains and seed banking, contributing to SDG 2. Students actively participated in the entire plant life cycle. • Requalify Schools: Through collaborative creation of school gardens and green spaces, we promoted active citizenship and biodiversity, contributing to SDGs 11 and 15. All activities were free and conducted in public schools, providing resources, empowering students and teachers, and fostering community engagement.
