▶Objectives
We wanted to contribute to our School Group’s internationalisation plan and involve our students with fewer opportunities, develop skills and create opportunities for international mobility and learning. We wanted to provide teachers with the best conditions and opportunities to contribute to the implementation of this entire teaching-learning process, both in person and online, bridging the gaps in our students’ learning. When preparing our students for tutoring and training roles, we developed activities based on teaching missions carried out by both teachers and vocational education students within the scope of their exit profile through the creation of joint learning scenarios. We created opportunities for teachers to develop the English language and apply the CLIL methodology in their classes. Our priorities were cooperation between schools, the acquisition of effective pedagogical skills, teacher training and curriculum development. The richness of the project lay in this diversity and inclusion, sharing of experiences and diversified teaching methodologies.
▶Activities
- Online Meetings - Presentation of all students and teachers involved in the project with the creation of a digital portfolio. - Creation of Avatars to promote digital citizenship and online identity protection. - Synchronous and asynchronous sessions to coordinate the activities to be carried out and developed on the introductory programming and robotics platform with a certain frequency, promoting Green Skills. - Creation and implementation of learning scenarios that promote STEAM. - Group mobility to each of the partner schools to implement workshops where Portuguese students will be tutors for their partner colleagues. - Training course for teachers involved in the project in CLIL. - Training course on new technologies, STEAM, innovative methodologies and Green Skills. - Final seminar in Portugal with all teams of teachers and students involved.
