The project aims to develop a strategy in the search for quality standards for youth workers. Besides strengthening and valuing youth workers, the project seeks to empower them with practical tools and resources. The final goal is to contribute to the development of a manual with tools that will enable the empowerment of youth workers and consequently of young people through quality projects and programs targeted to their needs.

We will implement periodic meetings and transnational meetings to share the knowledge acquired throughout the project. Surveys of youth workers and youth in order to understand their needs. Research through valid documentation for the valorization and definition of a competency framework for youth workers, and also informal conversations with workers and young people in order to understand their needs, all of which will be put together in a manual with quality standards for youth workers.

Support youth workers in their professional training; Produce a manual with quality standards for youth workers that can be distributed and prepared by various stakeholders at the international level; Raise awareness at the local, national and international level about the importance of a youth worker; Produce a tool that the European Youth Forum can consider and acquire as a good practice for youth workers, using it as a benchmark in the European context.
