Summary

I applied for this project after, as the Legal Representative of Music4All School, I participated as a guest in another Erasmus+ project, where I had the opportunity to meet the representative of Just Dance school. We immediately connected, recognizing that music and dance are interconnected disciplines. Through discussions with this partner, we identified two essential needs: at Music4All School, the need to improve the stage movement of music teachers, and at Just Dance, the need to enhance the musicality of dance teachers. Following my participation in a Workshop on small-scale partnership project writing, we decided to apply for this project together, successfully obtaining the funding. By doing so, we addressed the needs of both schools to enhance our teaching skills and competencies in music and dance, aiming to provide our students with a more complex and dynamic educational experience.

Objectives

The MDPF project aimed to: 1. Improving the quality of instruction in music and dance: We sought to develop the skills and competencies of teachers through training activities, enabling them to offer students a more complete and dynamic education. This was achieved by developing and integrating six innovative teaching methods, which contributed to better preparing students for performances and cultural events. 2. Promoting local culture and traditions: The project aimed to highlight local cultural values by involving artists and professionals in the fields of music and dance, as well as students and teachers, in learning and training activities, thereby promoting cultural diversity. 3. Developing a stronger and more inclusive artistic and cultural community: Through collaboration between partners from Romania and Serbia, we aimed to enhance relationships and facilitate the exchange of experiences among teachers. This partnership led to higher quality education and the promotion of inclusion through music and dance. Through these actions, we successfully addressed the needs of teachers and students, contributing to the creation of a stronger, more innovative educational community that is connected to local cultural values.
