The SKILLS4Water project aimed to strengthen knowledge, skills, and competencies in water sector through innovative interdisciplinary education and international collaboration.The main targets of the project were to: (1) develop innovative curricula by integrating soft skills through a standardized framework . (2) bridge the gap between higher education and industry by promoting hands-on learning and joint activities that will build capacity for students to acquire essential soft skills required to increase their opportunities in the job market; (3) increase employability and leadership among young professionals in water sector; and (4) foster institutional cooperation, capacity building, and mobility among partner countries. By implementing these objectives, SKILLS4Water contributed to a modern, practice-oriented, and feasible training framework fostering a culture of leadership and innovation in the water industry across Europe.
