▶Objectives
Ecometeo project aims at fostering green mindset in VET context and raising students and teachers awareness of the importance of meteorology in the light of environmental issues.The profile of participants are the same in every school (minimum 18 students (aged 17),12 teachers (English,Science,Meteorology) and 3 technicians per year).There will be always indirect participants belonging to school community and other stakeholders and associated partners, all gathered to fight climate changes.
▶Activities
Building a meteo station will be the starting point of the project activities. By means of meteo stations, and during LTTs (with focus on finding solutions how to tackle climate changes), weather data will be collected, compared, analysed and elaborated in thorough analysis of the rate of the climate change in the given region and published in e-book. Teachers will collaborate on the development and piloting free online course about Climate, Meteorology and Environment Protection.
▶Impact
The project results include meteorological station built by students which can be later used as learning tool in everyday school life and 2 IOs: - free online course highlighting the importance of meteorology in modern world which will be integrated in the school curriculum - an e-book with findings, solutions and analysis of the rate of the climate change in the three different region (Germany, Portugal, Serbia). These intellectual outputs will sustain the project outcomes and green mindset.
