โ–ถObjectives

The Gamedia project aims to provide tools for youth workers and increase their skills in training youth in media literacy and sensitize them to mis/disinformation and fake news. This will make youth conscious and active citizens, creating a positive impact on the development of the communities. It will be achieved through the development of a card-based board game focusing on media-literacy, training workshops with youth, guidelines for the implementation of workshops and informative videos.

โ–ถActivities

The project will develop a card-based board game which will be the focus of media-literacy training workshops with youth. Youth workers will test and train in the use of the project game and the implementation of media literacy training, and carry out local pilot workshops with youth. They will also develop project videos focussing on the issue of mis/disinformation and fake news, the project game, and media literacy training to improve the quality and impact of the project.

โ–ถImpact

The main project result will be the project game. This game will be accompanied by a workshop guideline booklet and informative videos, which can be used by youth workers to instruct them on the implementation of media literacy training. Furthermore, the project will implement workshops with youth. Finally, three videos will be produced to accompany the project results, raise awareness of the issue, and provide youth workers and other users of the game with essential instructions.
